 Jacqui Scott is a highly acclaimed singer, song-writer and performer with nearly 30 years of experience in the entertainment business.
She began her musical education at the age of six, and at ten won a scholarship to the prestigious Chethams School of Music in Manchester where she completed her classical training in voice and piano.
At the age of fifteen , she became the youngest winner of the first ever British BBC TV talent show 'Rising Stars'. That led to her own six week series for the BBC called 'Contrasts'.
She has performed for most of the Royal family, and co-hosted three televised Royal Command Performances in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles, Princess Diana and Princess Margaret.
She is regularly heard on BBC2's 'Friday Night is Music Night' and has more recently starred in Londons' West End playing leading roles of Ellen in 'Miss Saigon at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Grizabella in Cats, both on tour and at The New London Theatre and Eva Peron in Evita. Leading impresario David Land said, "Jacqui was to my mind, the best Evita ever...the definitive Eva Peron!" High praise indeed from the man who discovered Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
 She has played Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, in major Arena Concert performances of the show world-wide, 'Another Kind of Magic' a tribute to 'Queen' with the London Philharmonic Pops Orchestra, and 'Thank you for the Music' an evening of ABBA with the Gothenburg Opera, and Bergen Symphony Orchestras. She made her comedy-acting debut in the award winning Broadway play, Nunsense.
She appeared in the original ABBA/Tim Rice musical Chess at the Prince Edward Theatre in London, and on the tenth anniversary tour was invited back by Tim Rice to play the leading role.
As a regular solo performer with the Royal Philharmonic Pops, BBC Concert, Birmingham Symphony, The National Symphony, Gothenburg Philharmonic, Stockholm Symphony, Oslo Symphonic, Bergen Symphony and many other leading European Orchestras she maintains a busy concert schedule at home and abroad. She performs her own one woman show for the corporate market in America, Asia and Europe.
Jacqui has contributed to many compilation albums over the last few years, and has recorded three solo CDs; 'From This Moment', 'Memories, Dreams and Reflections', and her latest CD, simply called Jacqui Scott that she recorded at London's famous Abbey Road studios with the National Symphony Orchestra.
